We're celebrating our biggest summer yet!

This summer has certainly been one to remember as we welcomed over 1,000 individual session bookings across a diverse, ambitious six week schedule.

With plenty of old favourites mixed in with some awesome new ideas - many of which suggested by our members - we had an absolute blast supporting new and developing friendships, sharing new experiences and watching confidences grow.

Across the summer we enjoyed trips to Chessington World of Adventures, Brighton, Wimbledon tennis museum and Flight Club. We took in the sights in London, cruised down the river to Hampton Court and bounced on down to Jumpin Fun. Amongst these and other adventures, we also enjoyed centre-based sessions including arts and crafts, movie night and rounding the holidays off with our end of summer party.

The Keen2Go Cup saw a nail-biting return to the schedule. Two teams, led by Si and Robbie battled it out over six sessions and sports including football, basketball, mini golf and cricket. All tied, the contest came down to the very last sport - darts. After a nip and tuck game, Si's team came through to lift the cup with a perfectly placed double.

Our holiday schedules are a monumental operational challenge - with over 1,000 bookings to manage, over 50 activities to book, transport to arrange and a large staff team to deploy. It is all worth it and more to see such fun, friendship and personal growth on display, and to receive such incredible feedback when all is said and done.

There's no time to be resting on our laurels. The summer closing welcomes in the new academic year and we're straight back to delivering our term-time schedule. We look forward to pushing forward and working in partnership with our members to keep improving their service and are so grateful to them for bringing such energy and vibrancy to the community.
