Safeguarding
Keen2Go is committed to the safeguarding, protection and welfare of all who attend our service.
We recognise the importance of safeguarding and ensure that policies and practices are continuously reviewed so they remain effective and up to date.
Safeguarding is the utmost priority of all staff within the organisation and we ensure a high standard of safeguarding knowledge and training is maintained.
‘Every staff member at Keen2Go has a safeguarding responsibility.’
-
The welfare of the adults and children we support is paramount in all the work we do and in all the decisions we take
-
We believe working in partnership with service users, their parents, carers and other agencies is essential in promoting their welfare
-
We recognise the stigma surrounding safeguarding and the negative experiences adults, parents, carers and their families may have had in the past when receiving safeguarding interventions. It is Keen2Go’s aim to create a safe culture surrounding safeguarding where adults and their families/ carers feel safely supported and listened to.
If you want to discuss any safeguarding concerns or require any further information please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Tasha Brixey, here.
All parents and carers will be provided with contact numbers for our Designated and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads on onboarding to the service.
